Pantry Raid - SPAM Katsu

Here is another super easy recipe that uses up pantry items.

All you need is a can of SPAM, about 1 1/2 to 2 cups of panko, 1 c flour, 1 egg, and oil for frying.
Slice up the SPAM, dip each slice in flour, then egg, then panko.

Fry in oil about 3-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Serve with katsu sauce (which I have yet to find a good recipe for), or with curry sauce (I used pre-packaged curry sauce in the photo below - I'm also looking for a good homemade curry sauce!) and rice.

We don't eat SPAM very often in our home, but the kids sure loved the SPAM Katsu!
