Lunch at Restaurant 604

After reading Gem's post on Aloha Hour at Restaurant 604, I started following Restaurant 604 on Instagram and also bookmarked the restaurant on Yelp

We were in the area on Saturday, and decided to pop in for lunch.

In case you were wondering how to get here, just follow the directions as if you were going to the USS Arizona Memorial. When you turn onto Arizona Memorial Drive, turn right and head down the road - you'll see the restaurant on the left. There are a lot of parking spaces for visitors.

The restaurant itself has been here for years, first as The Marina restaurant, then Schooners. I had never been here before, and I was amazed at how beautiful the view is from the restaurant.

It's an open air restaurant, which allows you to enjoy the views even more, but the downside is that it gets pretty hot.

We arrived here just before 11, and we were able to grab the last open table by the water. The boys enjoyed the view and could even see the fish in the water below.

Our server greeted us promptly and handed us keiki menus, crayons, and their "brunch menu". I was in the mood for lunch, so I asked about a lunch menu, and our server said that the lunch menu doesn't start until 11 am, but we could put in our orders now.

We ordered chicken strips and linguine with butter and cheese off of the keiki menu for the boys.

I wanted to order something small for myself, so I ordered a bowl of seafood chowder.

I was impressed with the chunks of seafood in the soup.

The hubby ordered the Burger Deluxe. It was delicious!

The restaurant has a couple of flat screen TVs and a lot of nice artwork on the walls.

They have live music during happy hour,

and an assortment of local-themed logo items for sale.

We really enjoyed the food here, and the service was outstanding. We'll definitely be back for Aloha Hour one of these days....
