New at Liliha Bakery: Poi Mochi Donuts

Liliha Bakery, most known for their legendary Cocoa Puffs, recently rolled out a new item in their bakery - the poi mochi donut.  It's fried and glazed like a donut, but soft and chewy like mochi!

When I first saw a picture of it on Instagram, the shape reminded me of those teething rings for babies. :)

If you're not into poi, don't worry because these donuts don't taste like poi at all. They taste like a glazed donut, but they're much sweeter and chewier, since they're "mochi" donuts.

They're a little pricey at $1.95, but it's definitely something that's worth trying once, and chances are you'll get hooked on them like how I am!
