New Craft Beverage Spot in Honolulu Offers 100 Taps and Full Menu

Craft beer has a growing presence in Hawaii, and soon, Growler USA® - America’s Microbrew Pub will be the most comfortable spot in Honolulu for a premium craft beverage experience. Local entrepreneur Bill Muneno is opening Growler USA just blocks from Waikiki Beach, at 449 Kapahulu Avenue, Suite 105. Celebrating its grand opening on Wednesday, Aug. 24, the pub will offer a diverse food menu and 100 draft selections.

Dedicated to pouring only 100 percent American-made beverages, Growler USA will feature local breweries such as Kona Brewing Company, Maui Brewing Company and Waikiki Brewing Company. In addition to microbrew beer, Growler USA will serve hard cider, draught wine, hand-crafted root beer, and kombucha tea. Growler USA will also offer beer flights for customers looking to sample several of their favorite craft beers, and growlers for those interested in purchasing something to enjoy at home.

“The craft beer industry is growing in Hawaii, and I saw the market as relatively untapped for a concept like Growler USA. I look forward to offering a variety of quality local, regional and nationally recognized beers, right here in Honolulu,” said Muneno, who was born-and-raised on Oahu. “Growler USA is the only franchise 100 percent dedicated to American craft beer, and the only place in the world with the True to the Brew™ system, which guarantees the beer we serve tastes the way brewmasters intend.”

As a part of its commitment to provide a better craft beverage drinking experience, Muneno’s pub embraces the Hawaiian culture with food options like the Spam Burger topped with balsamic glazed vegetables, provolone cheese, lettuce and tomato, and its Ahi Poke with avocado, soy sauce, fresh ginger, diced jalapenos and sesame oil. The menu also includes a variety of salads, sandwiches, and pizzas, all created to ensure flavors, aromas and appearances complement each beverage

Growler USA bar tops are upcycled from reclaimed wood. Digital technology provides customers with instant notifications on social media and smartphone apps about newly-tapped brews. The pub also has free Wi-Fi and plentiful charging stations with USB ports.

“Honolulu’s enthusiasm for craft beer and its desire to support local entrepreneurs make it a natural fit for Growler USA,” said Dan White, CEO and founder of Growler USA. “We are confident Bill’s pub will become the go-to gathering spot for people looking for quality craft beverages, or those who simply want to enjoy a quality dining experience in a warm, welcoming environment.”

Growler USA is a national franchise dedicated to the craft beverage movement. Headquartered in Centennial, Colorado, Growler USA currently has locations in Eugene, Oregon; Charlotte, North Carolina; Austin, Texas; Houston, Texas; and Seattle, Washington, with additional pubs planned to open this year in other metro areas.

Growler USA in Honolulu is open Monday through Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. To reach the pub call 808-600-5869 or visit www.GrowlerUSAKapahulu.com. You can also stay up-to-date through their Facebook page.
