Ala Moana Hotel Welcomes Starbucks Evenings to Hawaii

Starbucks lovers now have another reason to frequent the popular coffee house. Hawaii's first Starbucks Evenings has launched at the Ala Moana Hotel location. Customers can get their daily caffeine fix and now they can also experience a selection of savory small plates, wine and beer from 2 to 9:30 p.m.

"Guests can order a glass of wine and enjoy the delicious truffle mac and cheese while they enjoy the company of friends and family or business associates during Starbucks Evenings," said Ronald Takayama, assistant general manager for Ala Moana Hotel. "We're excited to introduce Hawaii to Starbucks' signature evening menu, and add yet another fantastic dining option to Ala Moana Hotel."

Starbucks Evenings, which originally launched in 2010, features a menu that is seasonal and varies per region. Guests can indulge in the mouth-watering truffle mac and cheese, bacon wrapped dates, artisanal flatbreads and more. Wine and local and craft beers will be offered to create the perfect pairings with each of the pupu items.

"Starbucks customers are already enjoying coffee at our store in the evening, and now, we can offer even more menu options - from wine and craft beers to small plates," said Cody Allen, Starbucks store manager. "We're delighted to give our guests a familiar place to gather later in the day."

Located in the Ala Moana Hotel lobby, Starbucks seats up to 88 guests, inviting them to relax and unwind in a space accented with modern sofas, ambient music and locally-relevant art. Beyond the comfortable furniture, aromatic appeal and free-wifi, the space offers a welcoming atmosphere to Ala Moana Hotel guests that is pleasant for both social gatherings and informal meetings.
