A Preview of Foodland Farms Ala Moana - Grand Opening August 31

Foodland is back at Ala Moana Center!

You can once again pick up poke, fried chicken, and donuts, along with all of your grocery needs, at Foodland Farms Ala Moana when it opens its doors on August 31.

Lots of local product offerings!
The new 47,395 square feet flagship store will bring an elevated food and shopping experience, offering a "grocerant" concept, as noted by Foodland Corporate Chef Keoni Chang.

At Foodland Farms Ala Moana, several stations line the perimeter of the store, where you can get an assortment of eats -  locally-made ice cream, shave ice made with naturally-flavored syrups, Filipino ensemadas, and shrimp skewers on fried saimin.

Bubbies ice cream will be offered!
I can't wait to try out flavors like Lemon Toffee Crunch and Chocolate Chantilly!
You'll also find house-made sausage, freshly-made donuts, and pizzas fresh from the oven.

Poke takes center stage at Foodland Farms, as a central poke bar will feature the store's popular poke, as well as poke rolls, sushi, and musubi.

In the store you'll also find HI Steaks, which offers delicious steaks and a variety of sauces, as well as The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, where you'll find the perfect hot or cold pick-me-up.

And there's still more!  You can get fresh, cold-pressed juices from the juice bar, or hot entrees from the hot food bar (furikake mac-and-cheese with SPAM, anyone?)
Grab & go juices
R. Field Wine Company will offer fine wines and gourmet foods, and The Bar will feature food and wine pairings, along with craft beer selections.

Foodland Farms Ala Moana is a convenient spot to pick up all you need for a home-cooked dinner, an office meeting, a potluck, or a picnic across the street at the beach.

If you're looking for a place to coffice (free Wi-Fi available!), or to just grab a quick bite, you can have a seat in the dining area, which seats approximately 100 customers.

Foodland Farms Ala Moana will have a concierge on duty, as well as a will-call service to hold groceries while customers continue shopping at Ala Moana Center.

The Grand Opening celebration takes place on August 31, beginning at 9:45am with remarks by Jenai S. Wall, Chairman & CEO, Foodland Super Market Ltd., and a Hawaiian Blessing Ceremony.

The doors will open at 10:00am, and customers will get to sample food items, watch cooking demos, participate in prize giveaways, and so much more!

While supplies last, customers can get this adorable reusable bag with any purchase of $25 or more!

I know a lot of people are excited for the opening of Foodland Farms.

I sure am! The next time I visit, you can find me in line at the shave ice station awaiting a Chocolate Chantilly Shave Ice!
