Visit Whistler: Purebread

Several people had recommended I visit Purebread while in Whistler, and I'm so glad I did, because it was, quite simply put, "dessert heaven."

Platters of brownies, scones, cakes, pastries, and more tantalized my senses.

Each of my kids picked out a sweet treat (changing their minds many times in the process - it's so hard to choose just one!)
Raspberry Mocha Loaf

Flourless Brownie

Apricot Vanilla Bean Scone
I was planning on getting something savory, since I was prepared to sneak bites from my kids' decadent delights, but then something caught my eye...
Bacon, Sour Cream & Chive Scone
...this beauty...Salted Caramel Bar.

Salted Caramel Bar
I could not resist this amazing looking treat!

Everything we picked out was delicious - the raspberry mocha loaf was moist and yummy; the flourless brownie was chocolaty and rich; the apricot vanilla bean scone was sweet and fruity; the bacon, sour cream & chive scone savory and flavorful; and the salted caramel bar - sweet, salty and simply amazing.

Anyone with a sweet tooth needs to visit Purebread
