Top of Waikiki - Hawaii's Only Revolving Restaurant

Top of Waikiki, Hawaii's only revolving restaurant, has been operating since 1965, but it wasn't until a recent Saturday night did I finally have a chance to dine there.

Macadamia Nut Pesto Chicken Pasta

Keiki Vanilla Gelato

Top of Waikiki offers a daily Sunset Menu, and I opted for the pasta that was on the Sunset Menu.

The dish included locally-sourced tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, and asparagus, as well as chicken, and linguine, all mixed in a light, yet flavorful pesto sauce.  All of the ingredients combined nicely to create a very delicious dish.

My husband really liked his steak, which was served with sauteed mushrooms and onions, and a soy shallot butter.

Keiki menus are available for kids under 12, and include ice cream. My kids ate up their meals, and I liked how the mac & cheese was served with grilled ham - a nice way to get in some protein!

The desserts were fantastic.  I opted for the gelato pie, which was topped with bacon brittle and toasted hazelnuts.  It was so yummy, and I loved the bacon brittle!

And let's not forget about the spectacular views from the restaurant.

We dined during sunset and the views were just beautiful!

Service was excellent as well, and our family had a wonderful dining experience at Top of Waikiki!
