Visit Las Vegas: The Free Sights of Vegas

Fortunately, for visitors to Las Vegas there are lots of free sights and attractions, so if you happen to lose a lot of money gambling, or you spent big bucks on shows, shopping, and amazing eats, you'll still be able to see a lot of cool things on the strip and in Downtown for free.

My favorite free attraction is the Fountains of Bellagio.  It's just so pretty - especially at night!

The Viva Vision Light Show at the Fremont Street Experience was another fave.  The light show featured Bon Jovi, and it was cool to watch, but very loud for my kids.

At the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace we checked out the 50,000 gallon aquarium and the Fall of Atlantis Anamotronic Show, which my kids were a little scared of because of the scenes with fire.

Streetmosphere at the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian offered performances in St. Mark's Square, as well as the opportunity to watch living statues.

One thing that surprised me from my last visit to Las Vegas was how many "street performers" there were.

I swear I saw way more Olafs, Mickeys, and Minnies than at the happiest place on earth!  We also saw a lot of superheroes, Super Marios and Luigis, and transformers - all of whom would put on a show in hopes of getting people to take photos with them for tips.

We even saw a zombie who grabbed my oldest son (who actually didn't flinch).
Of course a visit to Las Vegas would not be complete with a stop at the Welcome to Las Vegas sign!

There were so many other free attractions that we wanted to see, but we just didn't have enough time.

Hopefully the next time we're in Vegas we'll get a chance to see them!
