Breakfast Buffet at the Plumeria Beach House at the Kahala Hotel and Resort

A nice birthday dessert to celebrate a special occasion.

I have many great memories of the Plumeria Beach House at the Kahala Hotel and Resort.  My sister threw my first baby shower at the beautiful open air restaurant.  We had such a fantastic time that we chose it again as the venue of my baby shower for my second child.  We’ve also attended several special themed dinners at the restaurant, like their Chinese New Year dinner that is highlighted with lion dances.

On the last morning of our amazing staycation at the Kahala, we chose to have the breakfast buffet at the Plumeria Beach House.  The selection at the breakfast buffet was wonderful and extensive enough to satisfy every person in our party, even my daughter – the pickiest of picky eaters.  She chose two slices of bacon, a made to order omelet of cheese and bacon, and two of the delicious chocolate croissants.  I also enjoyed an omelet but my favorite offerings were the thin pancakes served with maple butter and the refreshing mini acai bowls.
The Plumeria Beach House is a great casual dining option that is located on the beach with a stunning coastal view.  The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating.  Reservations were a cinch to make on Open Table where I noted that we were celebrating a birthday.  After our meal, our waiter brought out two mini slices of lilikoi cake complete with a birthday candle.  It was a very nice surprise for the birthday girl.  Service, like anywhere else at the Kahala Hotel and Resort, was excellent.

The full breakfast buffet is served daily.  Children 5 years and under are complimentary.  Sign up for Epitome membership for a 10% discount on all food items.

The restaurant gives a beautiful ocean view.

The buffet offers a variety of fresh fruit.

Kids will love the cereal bar.

Fresh guava juice is my family's favorite.

Round one!  The acai bowl was so yummy!
