Airport Eats - Laniakea Cafe at Kona International Airport

At the Kona International Airport, there is only one dining venue - Laniakea Cafe.  Since my kids were hungry while we waited for our flight back to Honolulu, I decided to pick up something small to tide them over until we got back home.

Keiki Meal
I opted for the Keiki Meal, which included two chicken fingers, fries, and bottled water.

It was $9.75!

So I only bought one, and the kids shared.

Then they ate whatever snacks they had in their backpacks.

The restaurant is air-conditioned, which meant the place was packed since the airport is open-air and can get very hot (they do have a sign saying something about being a paying customer in order to sit inside).

If you are starving (and need to cool down) and want a hot meal and don't mind paying high prices, then don't hesitate to dine at Laniakea Cafe.
