Surfer the Bar

After a very long and hot day at the Turtle Bay Resort pool, we couldn't wait to eat at Surfer the Bar.

Volcano Chicken Wings

Beer Battered Onion Rings

Hurricane Fries

Hamakua Mushroom Pizza

Pepperoni Pizza

Kula Bombe
They don't have a kids menu, but fortunately, we arrived during Happy Hour, and we found plenty of items on the Happy Hour menu that our entire family would enjoy.

Every dish was really good.  My favorites were the chicken wings (nice crunchy coating with a spicy kick), the Hamakua Mushroom Pizza (I really liked the macadamia nut pesto sauce), and the Hurricane Fries (fries topped with furikake, soy garlic butter, and Parmesan).

My kids' favorites were the two pizzas and onion rings.

The Kula Bombe was very rich and very delicious (definitely a sharable dessert because of how rich it is).  The brownies were my favorite part of the dish (I wish there were more brownie pieces!).

Service was excellent.  Our server was so friendly and attentive, and she really helped in making the dinner our favorite meal during our stay at Turtle Bay Resort.
