Visit Lana'i: Afternoon Tea at the Four Seasons Resort Lana'i, The Lodge at Koele

My daughter is my favorite Afternoon Tea partner and I try to make it our special mother-daughter time whenever possible.  While vacationing at the Four Seasons Resort, Lana'i, the Lodge at Koele, we took the opportunity to enjoy their tea service that is offered on Fridays and Saturdays from 3 to 5pm at the Terrace.

They offer an excellent tea selection and I chose the black coconut while my daughter enjoyed a smoothie off their bar menu.

The housemade scones were my favorite and served with delicious Devonshire cream, raspberry jam, and lemon curd.

The generous tea service offers five tea sandwiches. Our favorites were the chicken curry, egg salad, and tuna salad.   The smoked salmon and cucumber sandwiches were also very delicious but a little mature for my seven-year-old tastes.

The sweets on the other hand knew no age limit and we had no problems clearing the entire plate.  My daughter's favorites were the chocolate coconut macaron and chocolate mini eclair while I loved the passion fruit curd tart.

I thought the tea service was priced very affordably at $27 per person, which we shared.

Service was great and we had an excellent time enjoying the food and spending some quality time together.
