Another Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

In my quest to find THE perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe, I decided to try this recipe I found on allrecipes.com.

They turned out just the way I love cookies - crispy on the outside, but chewy on the inside.

This recipe is definitely at the top of my list...for now at least!
Chocolate Chip Cookies (recipe credit allrecipes.com):

  • 1 c butter, softened
  • 1 c sugar
  • 1 c packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 t vanilla extract
  • 3 c flour
  • 1 t baking soda
  • 2 tea hot water
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Directions:
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Cream the butter and sugars together until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  • Dissolve baking soda in hot water and add mixture to batter.

  • Bake for approximately 9-11 minutes.
