Visit Vancouver: Delta Burnaby Hotel & Conference Centre

A friend of mine who was traveling to Vancouver the same time as our family advised he was staying at a Delta Hotels location.  Not having heard of the brand before, I did some research, and found that the Delta Burnaby Hotel & Conference Centre would be ideal for our family for various reasons, including the location, room features, and the family amenities.

Check-In
Located approximately 20-25 minutes away from Vancouver International Airport, Stanley Park, Downtown Vancouver, and other popular tourist spots, the Delta Burnaby Hotel & Conference Centre stands out with its tower of 200 rooms and attached casino.

Upon entering the lobby I immediately noticed all of the gorgeous shades of the ModeClub purple color scheme.

The interior was so fresh and stylish all throughout the lobby.
Love the purple hues!
During check-in service was exceptional, and my kids were excited to receive a welcome kit just for them.

Room
We had a 2 Queens Room city view room right across from the elevator, which initially worried me, as I was concerned about all of the noise and traffic fronting our room.

City View
Fortunately, most of the time the elevator chimes did not bother us - even in the middle of the night, and any noise from other guests was minimal.

As for the room itself - it was lovely!  I adored the purple hues throughout the room (and my kids loved it too!), as well as the expansive workspace.

Each room also comes with a mini fridge, complimentary in-room coffee, June Jacobs bath amenities, and more.

The room itself was quite spacious, but I thought the bathroom was a little too small (when the door opens it misses the toilet by mere inches).

However, the entire room, including the bathroom, was clean and nicely decorated.

And my favorite part of the room - the Sanctuary Beds!  The pillow-top mattresses and pillows were just SO comfortable!

Dining
On-site is e.b.o. Restaurant and Lounge (you can read my review here), where we had two wonderful breakfasts, as well as Starbucks.  The are also numerous restaurants within walking distance, or just a short drive away.

Final Thoughts
Delta Burnaby Hotel & Conference Centre is a great option for anyone who is traveling to the Vancouver area.

The staff provided excellent service (everyone - from the guest services agents to housekeeping to room service - was so friendly and accommodating), the location was convenient, and the hotel is just beautiful!

And I absolutely love how family-friendly Delta Burnaby is.

Our family was treated wonderfully, and we had a really nice stay.

We're looking forward to visiting Canada again in the near future, and whether we're back in British Columbia or visiting a different province, I'll be searching for a Delta Hotels nearby.
