Taste Tea

The bubble tea trend has hit Hawaii again, and one of the most popular places to get these refreshing treats is Taste Tea.  At Taste Tea, every drink is made to order, and you get to customize the sweetness level.  You even get to sample your drink before they fulfill your order.  They have a stamp card program: one stamp per $4 purchase, 10 stamps gets you one free $4 drink.  I don't want to admit how many stamp cards I've redeemed so far.

The only downside to Taste Tea is the parking.  The stalls directly in front of the business are for Taste Tea customers, but everything else is off limits, and often times people are waiting for a parking space.

They accept phone orders, which is the way to go if you know what you want, because sometimes the lines are long.

Desserts are also available for purchase.  Some are made in-house, some are made by the Bread House, which is located on Maunakea Street in Chinatown.
