Despite being one of the most popular plate lunch spots on the island for more than 50 years, I had never been to Rainbow Drive-In until last week.

My husband had the Mix Plate, and he ate everything up.

I've been hearing about the Boneless Chicken with Gravy for YEARS, so of course I had to try it.  It was a very generous serving of chicken, and it was pretty good.  However, being the Rainbows newbie that I am, I didn't say "gravy all over," so next time I'll be sure to request for "gravy all over."

And the Strawberry Slush Float was PERFECT for such a hot day.  I'd go back just to get another one of those cool treats!

I'm glad I finally got to try Rainbow Drive-In, and hopefully it won't be too long before I'm back again!
