Hula Grill Waikiki

Our family recent dined at Hula Grill Waikiki to celebrate my birthday.

Complimentary Focaccia

Olive Oil and Chili Pepper Water

Keiki Grilled Cheese with Fries

Keiki Chicken Fingers with Fries

Localicious Salad

Potsticker Duo

Fresh Hawaiian Fish (Mahi Mahi) in a Chili Beurre Blanc Sauce

Lemon Ginger Roasted Chicken

Complimentary Birthday Homemade Ice Cream Sandwich

White Chocolate and Banana Bread Pudding
Petite Homemade Ice Cream Sandwich
The complimentary bread dipped in the olive oil and chili pepper water was SO GOOD (it's no wonder that the restaurant sells the chili pepper water by the bottle!).

Both my husband and I ordered from the Chef's Tasting Menu (available Monday through Friday from 4:45pm-5:45pm).  The Chef's Tasting Menu allows you to choose a starter, an entrĂ©e, and a dessert - all for just $25.75!

I opted for the potstickers, the chicken, and the bread pudding.  The Potstickers Duo consisted of one filled with Kalua Pork, and the other filled with Lobster & Scallop.  Even though I don't eat much seafood, I really enjoyed the Lobster & Scallop Potsticker.

The chicken was tasty, and the bread pudding was very delicious.

I did get a bite of the complimentary birthday dessert - the Homemade Ice Cream Sandwich, and that was delicious as well.

My husband enjoyed his options from the Chef's Tasting Menu (the salad, fish, and ice cream sandwich), and my kids enjoyed their meals.

The Keiki Meals come with a soda, but milk or juice (including fruit punch) is $1.50 extra so my husband ended up drinking my kids' sodas, and my kids just drank water.

Service was excellent during our entire dinner, and the view was just spectacular.

I had a wonderful birthday dinner with my family at Hula Grill Waikiki!
