Filipino Food Week at MW Restaurant

We went to MW Restaurant for Filipino Food week (runs through 10/25 at various different restaurants - see @filipinofoodweekhawaii on IG for more information)!

Mahalo to Chef Michelle and Chef Wade for the oysters!

Duck Adobo

The Duck Adobo was the dish for Filipino Food Week.  The people who ordered it on the table ate it all up!  One person said the skin was perfectly crisp and delicious.
Mochi Crusted Mrs. Cheng's Tofu
I had the Mochi Crusted Mrs. Cheng's Tofu, which came with banchan.  It was a dish on the lighter side, but so delicious.  The crust was delicate, yet flavorful.

Hashimoto Kula Maru Persimmon Mochi Crusted Bread Pudding

MW just got their delivery of Hashimoto Kula Maru Persimmons the day we went to dinner, so Chef Michelle made a Mochi Crusted Bread Pudding for dessert.  What a lovely dessert.  The mochi crust was a great contrast to the moist bread budding.

We had a nice night at MW!
