Visit Hilo: Lunch at Lehua Restaurant

I go to Lehua Restaurant for dinner whenever I can, but it's been a while that I've gone for lunch.  When my friends visited Hilo recently, we made sure to dine there for lunch before we caught our flight back home.

Fried Ulu

Fried Kalo is one of my go-tos, but that day they had ulu instead.  It was a fab sub - we loved it, and the house garlic chili oil gave it a nice kick!

Tinono

The Tinono is always a must.

Calamari
And so is the Calamari.
Oriental Chicken Salad
The Oriental Chicken Salad was enormous!
Kim Chee Swiss Burger
Our friend loved the Kim Chee Swiss Burger, and he especially enjoyed the gochujang mayo.

Fish Fillet Sandwich

Char Siu Soba Noodles
The char siu chicken was tender and the noodles with the house soba dressing were light and refreshing.

A couple weeks later we went back, and I had the Pork Belly Bowl.
Pork Belly Bowl
The meat was succulent with crispy skin.  Delish!!

Street Style Fish Tacos
A friend had the Street Style Fish Tacos and really enjoyed it!

Housemade Ice Cream
We were treated to some housemade ice cream - so yummy!

Portions are generous and the service is wonderful every time!
