Visit Tokyo: Gelato Miki

Just a 16-minute walk from our hotel was Gelato Miki.

The small shop has a limited amount of nine flavors daily, all crafted with quality ingredients.  One of their signature flavors is New Zealand-inspired Hokey Pokey.  They were all out when we visited, but I'm not sure if I would have gotten it anyway since we've tried Hokey Pokey when we were in New Zealand.

Milk & Mascarpone

Acai & Raspberry

Mascarpone & Japanese Sake

Japanese Pepper & Masala Chai

Milk & Japanese Pepper

I had Milk & Japanese Pepper.  The Japanese Pepper incorporated sansho peppers (you could see flecks of green), and it was very mild.

We all loved the dense, creamy gelato.

It was definitely a nice find in Tokyo!
