BIG ISLAND CANDIES HOSTS A PUBLIC MEET-AND-GREET FEB. 17 AT ALA MOANA CENTER WITH JAPANESE CULINARY PERSONALITY HARUMI KURIHARA

Humbled by the enthusiastic interest in the limited-release Harumi’s Kona Coffee Cookies which was launched on Black Friday last November and sold out within just two weeks, Big Island Candies is proud to announce a re-release of this product as part of its permanent collection. Discerning palates will be able to savor the subtle sweetness and dark-roasted richness of coffee in the mocha-scented cookie accentuated by crunchy bits of coarsely ground Kona coffee beans. The confections will be available at both Big Island Candies locations, retailing for $23.50 at the Hilo flagship store and factory, and $24.50 at the Ala Moana Center store. Timed with this relaunch is a public box signing with Harumi Kurihara herself at the Ala Moana Center store from 930am to 1030am on February 17, where she will meet and greet fans. A limited number of gifts from Harumi Kurihara’s signature line of products will be available for those who purchase two or more boxes.

For more information, please call the Ala Moana store at (808) 946-9213 or visit the website at www.bigislandcandies.com.
