Sadly, we are losing another long time eatery on Oahu - Tai Sei Ramen. I used to come here with my friends often for dinner back in the day. We loved coming here for their ramen combos, generous portions, and friendly service. I'll admit, it's been YEARS since I've dined here, but once I saw someone's post on social media about their announcement to permanently close next month, I messaged my BFFs and we made plans to dine here for dinner, one last time.
We each picked an entree to share:
Curry Chicken Katsu Ramen (we requeseted the katsu on the side)
Seafood Crispy Noodle
Gyoza (we actually ordered 12!)
Service was great - the food came out quickly, which was good because we were all starving.
Their last day of business is April 15, 2022 - stop by for one last dine-in or take-out meal before then!
On a side note, Bo's Kitchen, known for their spicy handmade won tons and other Cantonese style offerings, will be taking over this spot (they are currently located at Ohana Marketplace which is scheduled to close on April 16, 2022).
