Mango Mango Opens in Pearlridge Shopping Center

Mango Sundae

According to their website, Mango Mango started in New York’s Chinatown creating modern day desserts inspired by traditional Hong Kong style desserts. Today they have locations in 13 states including Hawaii. Their newest location just opened in Pearlridge next to Aloha Salads and we were very excited to attend their media event as mango is my very favorite fruit!

What's great about Mango Mango is that there's ample seating so you can take your time and enjoy your drinks and desserts. The menu is extensive so I am looking forward to returning and working my way through their menu, especially the hot desserts like the Black Sesame Paste Soup with mochi.

At the media event we tried the Mango Sundae and the Mango Strawberry Smoothie-o with mochi added in. I really liked the creamy texture of the mango ice cream and the smoothie was light, fruity, and refreshing. We decided to also get the Mango and Black Rice and the Coco Crepe Roll. I enjoyed the chewy texture of the black rice and that the dessert wasn't overly sweet. My son really loved the chocolate crepe roll, but it was too sweet for me.

Mango Mango's line up of desserts and drinks makes a great addition to Pearlridge as it's the perfect place for shoppers to stop for a break and a treat.
