Take-Out from Artizen by MW

One of the positives to come out out of the pandemic is that Artizen by MW has moved from downtown Honolulu to Velocity Honolulu. This means they now have parking, and they are open on weekends!

We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon to get take-out.  We were lucky enough to score one of two 10-minute parking stalls for the restaurant (they also have other parking stalls reserved for the restaurant but those were all taken).

I love the availability of outdoor seating (pets are welcome!).

For take-out phone orders, you need to check-in with the cashier.

The cookie display will be calling your name. It was calling my name, and I answered the call by buying a bag of snickerdoodles on impulse.

These snickerdoodles are thin and crispy - very tasty! Beware - these are incredibly addicting.

My favorite dish from Artizen is the mochi crusted fish. The fish is always so moist, and the exterior is always crunchy, even as take-out.

I also ordered their smoked ahi dip with won ton pi chips for pau hana time with my BFF.  It went perfectly with our drinks. I highly recommend this dip!

I also bought the pork and butterfish lau lau from their "Save It For Later" menu. Sorry, no pictures of the lau laus, but they were delicious, and fairly priced at $15 for two (the lau laus are larger than normal and filled with a generous portion of pork AND butterfish!).

Now that I know Artizen has outdoor seating, I'll be putting them on my list of places to dine-in at!
