Romano’s Macaroni Grill is showing its appreciation for hard-working teachers for their recent return to classrooms in Hawaii. The highlight of the restaurant’s multifaceted Teacher Appreciation Month is a free Mom’s Ricotta Meatballs and Spaghetti entrée during the week of August 16 – 20, for teachers and school administrators who dine-in and present official school credentials or teacher badges.

Teachers and administrators can enjoy their free Mom’s Ricotta Meatballs and Spaghetti at one of two Macaroni Grill locations in Hawaii, at Ala Moana Center in Honolulu or Queens’ MarketPlace in Waikoloa on the Big Island of Hawaii. This beloved “comfort food” entrée is fitting as a reward for dedicated teachers who visit and dine-in during the designated five-day period in August (not available for take-out.)

Also, families are encouraged to enter their favorite teacher for a chance to win Macaroni Grill for a year. Nominations can be made online at macaronigrill.comthrough the end of August.

Teacher Appreciation Month at Macaroni Grill also includes a chance for community members to support teachers by buying them a Teacher Meal for only $10. Guests ordering online can donate a bowl of Mom’s Ricotta Meatballs and Spaghetti through the end of August at order.macaronigrill.com. The item can be added to their online cart and will be donated to a local school in September. Macaroni Grill aims to have 1,500 meals donated to teachers nationwide, through its restaurants across the U.S.

In early September, Macaroni Grill restaurants will partner with a local elementary school to deliver a spaghetti and meatball staff meal, hosted in part by guests who donated thank you meals to teachers.

See www.macaronigrill.com for reservations, online ordering and to learn more about family-friendly bundling options for take out. Call Romano’s Macaroni Grill at Ala Moana Center at (808) 356-8300 or Queens’ MarketPlace at (808) 443-5515.
