For Father's Day, I wanted to treat the husband to one of his favorite foods - prime rib. As luck would have it, Zia Caffe's monthly prime rib weekend fell on Father's Day weekend, so we got to celebrate him with food from one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants.
Zia's prime rib dinner consists of a 10 ounce slab of prime rib (cooked to your preference), Parmesan mashed potatoes, and roasted broccolini. Unfortunately he didn't get to enjoy this all by himself, because one of the twins wanted to try it and ended up liking it a lot! Next time we may need to order TWO prime rib dinners!
I also ordered the Pappardelle alla bolognese since they make their Pappardelle pasta in-house - it was amazing! Never bypass the chance to order fresh house-made pasta if you see it on a menu. Don't forget to add the garlic bread to your meal!
