Visit Hilo: Lavaloha

I first visited Lavaloha last year (Anna & I stumbled upon it while driving around), and it was quite a happy surprise.  The cute shop makes locally-crafted chocolates from the cacao they grow on property (they even do farm tours, but call to ensure they are still offering them during the pandemic).

I had some time to stop by during my last visit to Hilo, and I couldn't resist the seasonal white chocolate and peppermint.  There's just something about that combo I adore, especially during the holidays.

I also got a bag of Milk Chocolate with Sea Salt.  I prefer Milk Chocolate vs Dark, and the silky smooth chocolate combined with sea salt is such an indulgence!

It's nice to see that Lavaloha was still operating and offering the chocolates for sale (other select brands of omiyage are also offered)
