Flyin' Ahi

A few years back, Flyin' Ahi's food truck was at a local event, and I was so excited to try the Kalbi Fries.  Sadly, they had to leave the event early to go to another location.  I was so bummed!

Last week, I had the urge to try the Kalbi Fries.  The food truck didn't open til 23 minutes after scheduled opening time (apparently due to a very large order), and conflicting signs - one with kalbi fries listed and one with them crossed out, nearly dashed my hopes of ever trying the fries.

Fortunately, the popular Kalbi Fries were available!

It was just as tasty as I imagined them to be!

Crispy, seasoned fries with tender, flavorful kalbi.  Yum!

We ordered two other specials of the day, Tiger Ahi Katsu, and Korean Fried Chicken.  Both were delicious!

I highly suggest you get in line just prior to opening time, because the line did get long, and cross your fingers that they open on time.
