The Changing Landscape of the Restaurant Industry

As the pandemic continues with no end in sight, the toll it's taking on businesses is heartbreaking.

Worldwide, iconic restaurants and chefs who have made an indelible mark in the industry have had to make the decision to shut down.

Two that hit particularly close to home were the closings of Alan Wong's Restaurant and Moon & Turtle. I've gotten to know the people behind these restaurants, and it was devastating to not only the community, but also to the state and the industry as a whole.

I know it's not the end for the chefs and the team behind these restaurants, but to have to close under these circumstances is tragic.

I'm excited to see what the future holds for them.

What restaurant are you particularly sad to have seen close?
