Chocolate Chip Pretzel Cookies

I love sweet and salty, and if you do too, you must try these Chocolate Chip Pretzel Cookies!

I would think you could take just about any chocolate chip cookie recipe and throw in pretzels for that sweet & salty mix!  Below is the recipe I used.

Chocolate Chip Pretzel Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 c butter, softened
  • 2/3 c brown sugar
  • 2/3 c sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 ½ t vanilla extract
  • 2 c flour
  • 1 ¼ t baking soda
  • 1 t salt
  • 1 ¾ cchocolate chips
  • 1 c crushed pretzels
Directions:
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugars.
  • Mix in the egg and vanilla.
  • In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Slowly add these the flour mixture into the butter mixture until combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chips and pretzels.
  • Drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto a parchment-lined cookie sheet.
  • Bake for approximately 10-12 minutes.
  • Cool completely
