MyungRang Hotdog Open at Pearlridge Shopping Center

You can now get Korea's famous hotdogs at Wai Makai (formerly downtown) Pearlridge Shopping Center!  Myungrang's second location in Hawaii offers hotdogs and other items deep fried in their special batter.  It looks like a corn dog, but their batter is made from rice flour so the outside is crispy and the inside is chewy.  Besides the variety of hotdogs, you can also get mozzarella or rice cake on a stick.

I ordered the Myungrang hotdog ($3.50) and had the option of a sugar topping.  I wasn't feeling too adventurous that day so kept it simple with ketchup and mustard.  Other sauces include mustard cheese, cheddar cheese, and sweet chili sauce.  I'm looking forward to returning so I can try their curious looking Potato hotdog.

They are open daily from 10:30am to 9pm.
