Visit Boston: Union Oyster House

The Union Oyster House is the oldest continuously operating restaurant in America, as well as the oldest restaurant in Boston.  I was told on good authority that they have the best clam chowder, so of course I had to check it out!

Broiled Fresh Boston Scrod

Fresh Fried Onion Rings

Kids Mac & Cheese

Chicken  Noodle Soup

The Clam Chowder was indeed the best I've had, and I've tried a lot during my trips to New England.  I only ordered a cup of chowder - I wish I ordered a bowl!

And I must say - the Corn Bread was the best I've ever had too (and I'm not a big fan of corn bread, but I wanted to eat more!).

The Scrod is considered a "New England Tradition," and my husband thought it was good.

The Chicken Noodle Soup was a soup of the day.  It was very hearty!

If you love clam chowder, or just seafood in general, definitely check out Union Oyster House for delicious food!
