Betty's Burgers

First there was Chubbies, then The Daley, and now there is a third food business on Oahu specializing in smash burgers - Betty's Burgers. I first discovered Betty's when I was driving on University Avenue near the University of Hawaii one afternoon, and noticed that what was formerly The Greek Corner was now Betty's Burgers. From that point on, every time I drove past Betty's, I would look to see if there were people dining in there, and I would always see a few heads in there, so I decided to give it a try for lunch.

The first thing I noticed was how reasonable the prices are. There are 15 burgers total, ranging in price from $4.99 for a burger with lettuce and BB sauce, to $8.25 for a Double Bacon Deluxe with Cheese.

They also have non-meat burger items such as fish, teriyaki chicken, bbq chicken, and the Beyond Veggie patty.

Sides include fries (two sizes), which are thick cut and seasoned, or onion rings.

Shakes come in four flavors and I would recommend ordering one to balance out your meal (can't go wrong with the good old sweet n salty combo!).  You can also order a "Shake Dipper" which is an 8 oz serving, perfect for dipping  your fries in!

Betty's is a great fit for this location!
