Visit Hawaii Island: Lunch at Waimea Butcher Shop

I've heard a lot about Waimea Butcher Shop through friends and colleagues, and I finally made a visit there recently for lunch. 
Smoked Chicken

Roast Beef

Beef Heart Pastrami

Smoked Brisket

Pastrami

The sandwiches are hearty and tasty.  I only ate half of the Smoked Chicken sandwich and was satisfied.  I think it's awesome how the shop not only uses local products in the sandwiches, but they also support local businesses by selling their products in the shop.  

And of course, you can also take home meats to cook at home - sausages, steaks, etc.  All the products are local, and the shop truly serves some of the best meats I have ever tasted.
