OHi Superfood Bar - A Great Snack for After School or Anytime!

Disclosure: Complimentary samples were provided for review purposes.

About OHi Superfood Bar
The OHi Superfood Bar is a nutrient dense, long lasting energy blend rich in plant fats and protein and packed with nourishing superfood ingredients. They are made with the highest quality whole food ingredients that are non-GMO, gluten, grain, dairy & soy free. We simply put in the best and leave out the rest! No gums, fillers, synthetic vitamins or additives. No artificial anything.
OHi Superfood Bars were born in Maui, introduced at local farmers markets, and have since expanded to retailers nationwide.

We were fortunate to receive a sampler box of OHi Superfood Bars to try out.  The five flavors available are: Almond Crunch, Peanut Butter, Coconut Macadamia, Double Chocolate, and Super Green.

You can see all of the nuts, seeds, and other superfood ingredients in each bar.  It is packed!

I honestly wasn't sure if my son would like the bar.  When it comes to snacks, he prefers chocolate, gummies, cookies - not something so nutrient-dense and healthy.
He didn't like it.  He LOVED it!  I had him try the Almond Crunch Bar, and told him we'd share and I'd eat half, but he asked to eat all of it!

His favorite was the Double Chocolate (no surprise there).

I was really impressed with the taste of the OHi Superfood Bars.  They have just enough sweetness and saltiness, with a great combination of plant fats and protein to keep you satisfied.

It's great that OHi Superfood Bars carefully selects ingredients that are superfoods, organic, or nutrient-dense, which makes me eager to give them to the kids whenever they are ravenous for a snack.

It's recommended that the bars be kept in the refrigerator to help maintain the nutrition of the superfood ingredients, and also because no preservatives are used.  Keeping them in the fridge helps to maintain the texture and bind all the ingredients.

OHi, which translates "To Gather" in Hawaiian and "To Rise, To Elevate" in Maori, is the perfect snack to pack in a lunchbox or tote in a beach cooler!
