HONOLULU Magazine's Hale `Aina Celebration

On Saturday I attended HONOLULU Magazine's Hale `Aina Celebration, which featured Gold Hale `Aina 2019 Awardees.

The event was held at `Alohilani Resort, and I was fortunate to have had VIP access to this fun foodie event!

VIPs were treated to:

Smoked Meat with Toasted Soy Bean Salad (Square Barrels)
Raw Bar (Herringbone Waikiki)
All guests could indulge in:

Green Curry with Grilled Beef (Noi Thai Cuisine)

Oxtail Soup with Bee Hoon Noodles (Chef Chai)

Red Wine Braised Kahua Lamb Sliders with Pepper Jam (Merriman's)

Risotto Parmigiano with Carnaroli Rice (Arancino at the Kahala)

Grass-fed Beef Kilawin Ceviche (53 By The Sea)

White Chocolate Bread Pudding (Ruth's Chris Steakhouse)
Lucky Sweet Treats (MW Restaurant)
The Risotto at Arancino is my favorite on the island, so I was ecstatic that it was one of the dishes being offered (I had two servings!).

I also LOVED the Bread Pudding from Ruth's Chris.

It was a fun and lively evening full of delicious bites, as well as wine and beer, a photo booth, and even entertainers!

The staff at the event was exceptional, and I thought the Hale `Aina Celebration was a great way to experience dishes from some of the best restaurants in the state!
