Visit Minneapolis: Moose Mountain Adventure Golf

The very first thing we did upon arrival at Mall of America was head to Moose Mountain Adventure Golf for some family-friendly competition.

The 18-hole mini golf course features entertaining putting greens that challenge players to hit their golf balls under, over, through, and around different obstacles (I thought the funniest obstacle involved an outhouse).

The fun outdoor setting through the woods, along with the oversized props (many paying homage to Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox; one of the birthplaces of Paul Bunyan is said to be Minnesota), made for a fun golf adventure. It was also really neat to be able to overlook the Nickelodeon Universe amusement park while waiting for our a turn to putt.

The course was designed to be entertaining, but not so easy.  The kids thought it was hilarious when balls would end up in precarious places - or even bounce or slide right back to them.

I actually got a double hole-in-one (I made it into two holes on a single putt!).

Another great thing about Moose Mountain Adventure Golf is that it is located in the Mall of America, which means air conditioning!

Moose Mountain Adventure Golf is fun for the entire family!
