Visit Minneapolis: Hazelwood Food + Drink

My favorite restaurant throughout our Midwest vacay was Hazelwood Food + Drink in Minnesota.
Bacon Mac N Cheese Balls

Crunchy Tater Tots
I decided to just order a couple of appetizers that I could eat (and share!).  The tots were yummy, but the mac n cheese balls were my fave of the two.  Stuffed with gouda, cheddar, pecorino, and bacon, they were bites of bliss!

I also tried some of the walleye.  It was my favorite meal of the entire trip.  The walleye is very mild, and it was so tender and flaky.  The Parmesan crust was seasoned perfectly, and was complemented nicely by the wild rice pilaf.

A kids menu is available, and meals come with a drink and side.

Rotisserie Chicken

Pepperoni Pizza

Cheeseburger

The kids portions were pretty generous, and the prices were great - nothing over $7!

Chocolate Cake
I usually don't care for cakes, but I decided to order the Chocolate Cake for dessert.

The cake itself was moist and delicious, but when paired with the ice cream and Callebaut chocolate sauce - it was amazing!!

Service was great, and Hazelwood was definitely a highlight for me!
