Mud Hen Water Brunch

Mud Hen Water is one of my favorite dining spots on the island, and I was excited to try out the brunch menu!

We enjoyed a feast!  My personal faves were the Biscuit & Mapo Gravy (I loved the spiciness), and the Corned Beef & Kalo Hash (nice & crispy, and really delish when eaten with the avocado and kim chee).

The rest of our group loved the Beet Poke (if I didn't know any better I would've thought it was fish at first glance!), the Pork Sisig (another fave of mine), and the U`ala Doughnuts (someone in our party absolutely loved the doughnuts!).

I loved how local ingredients were really emphasized in these comfort food faves.
