Wahoo's Fish Taco

Thank you to our sponsor for our complimentary meal. All opinions are my own.

Wahoo's Fish Taco at Ward Village recently celebrated a grand-reopening with a renovated interior, new furniture, new bar seating, and some new additions to the menu.

We stopped by on Memorial Day for lunch with Melissa and Yumi.

The new bar area looked like the ideal place chill and partake in their Happy Hour specials which runs daily from 3 pm - 7 pm.

It's been really hot and muggy lately, so I tried a strawberry Corona-rita - it was so refreshing!

Wahoo's recently started breakfast service seven days a week starting at 7 am. They offer pancakes, benedicts, omelets, and breakfast entrees.

The pancakes are huge and ideal for sharing.

The kal bi moco was the star of the show today - thick slices of tender, marinated kal bi on a bed of local style fried rice, and topped with an egg and kim chee.

We also tried the Banzai Burrito with steak and shrimp, banzai veggies, rice, beans, and salsa. I would highly recommend this burrito, as the banzai veggies really makes a difference!

Yumi sampled the Shredder Sandwich with Maui onion rings.

She was given 'the green sauce', which is Wahoo's housemade salad dressing. She really liked it as a dipping sauce for the onion rings. Don't forget to ask for it!

For the little ones, we sampled some of the keiki entrees off of the "just for kids" menu.

You can't go wrong with a mini quesadilla and fries!

Wahoo's is currently running a promo every Tuesday: for each entree purchased, you can get one kids entree for free!  Don't be surprised to find me dining here with my groms on a Tuesday night!

Whether it's breakfast, lunch, dinner, or drinks, Wahoo's has you covered!
