Brunch at The Brilliant Ox

After a morning of shopping, we went to The Brilliant Ox for brunch, which is offered Saturdays and Sundays from 10a-3p.

Eight items are on the brunch menu, and we ordered three of them:

Crispy Fish Sandwich

Kimchi Omelette
Croissant French Toast

The Kimchi Omelette was served with huge pieces of pork belly.

The Croissant French Toast was drizzled with a lilikoi custard and served with whipped cream, marinated strawberries,and candied almonds.  

The regular menu is also offered, and we ordered a couple of appetizers:

Red Hot Cauliflower

Ox Fries
The Ox Fries - fries smothered in aged cheddar fondue and oxtail gravy, was really good, and I loved the Red Hot Cauliflower - cauliflower battered and fried and served with a shiso ranch sauce.

There is no keiki menu, but they do offer a Keiki Burger for $10, including fries.

I thought the service was great, and we had a nice brunch.  I'd definitely return for the appetizers!
