Square Barrels

Even though Square Barrels has been open for years, Nat and I tried it for the first time a few weeks ago!
Cauliflower Quarter

Cubano with Gravy Fries

Ulu Fries

Wagyu Burger with Truffle Butter Fries

I've been on a cauliflower kick lately, so I decided to order the Cauliflower Quarter even though Nat despises cauliflower.  The cauliflower was steamed and baked, and covered in bacon, IPA mustard, mayo, and cheddar.  It was amazing!  So amazing, that Nat had two servings!

She really wanted to try the Ulu Fries (which is served in limited quantities), so we ordered some.  It was good, but we both love regular French fries so much more.

Nat ordered the popular Wagyu Burger, which was topped with prosciutto, Swiss, caramelized onions, IPA mustard, and fried caper mayo.   She really enjoyed it.

I opted for the Cubano - house roasted pork, ham, pickles, Swiss, IPA mustard, and dijonnaise.  It was really good.

I love that you can sub regular fries with truffle, gravy, or poutine fries!
Beignets

Dirt Cakes
Although we were pretty stuffed, we still decided to order two desserts (and we also were given some ice cream to go along with the sweets).  Of the two, I liked the Dirt Cakes (pancake-battered OREOs) a lot more.

Service was great and the food was too.  I can't believe we waited so long to try Square Barrels!
