Tasty Poke

Customizable poke bowls is where it's at these days, and one of my favorite places to get one is at Tasty Poke on Keeaumoku.

It's a four step process:
1) choose your base: rice, salad, or rice + salad
2) choose your protein: ahi, salmon, tako, baby scallop, shrimp, hamachi (plus one free mix-in such as sesame seed/oil, limu, masago, onion, green onion)
3) choose your sauce: house shoyu, wasabi shoyu, etc.
4) choose your toppings: corn, crab salad, mac salad .... (choose 3 for free)

They also have unlimited condiments such as crunchy garlic and crunchy onions.

Poke bowls come in three sizes - small (one choice protein), medium (two choice protein) and large (three choice protein).  The small (pictured directly above) is adequate for the average person.

Service is outstanding and the poke tastes really fresh. If you're a fan of the modern poke bowl, you'll definitely want to try Tasty Poke!!
