Visit New York City: The Recently-Refreshed Gardens Suites Hotel by Affinia

Last year, when I visited New York, my family and I stayed at the Gardens Suites Hotel by Affinia, and we absolutely loved it.

This year, when I returned for a quick girls' trip with Nadia, I just knew we had to stay at this conveniently-located Upper East Side hotel again, which recently completed a refresh.

Gardens Suites Hotel by Affinia offers 132 spacious suites, and Nadia and I were fortunate to stay in a Two-Bedroom Suite, which was complete with a full kitchen, a large living room, and two bathrooms.

The kitchen allows you to cook your own meals, which is a huge money-saver, especially for extended stays.  The two bathrooms are essential girlfriend getaways, or even families with kids.

There were three flat screen TVs, a large work desk, and a dining table, and the bathrooms included eco-friendly amenities, as well as full-size refillable bottles of body wash, shampoo, and conditioner.

The Two-Bedroom Suite offered more than enough room for us, and it is definitely a perfect retreat for families visiting NYC as well (no fighting over bathrooms, TVs, or places to sleep or sit!).

One room had a king bed, and another room had two queens.  The living room even had a sofa-sleeper.

Although you can hear the occasional siren or honk from the cars on the busy streets of NYC, I slept well on the signature Affinia bed (bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper), and I did not hear any noise from other guests.

I adore the refresh!  The brighter, natural-toned hues made the suite very inviting, and the kitchen is fully-equipped with modern appliances.  One of the things I absolutely love about the refresh is the abundance of charging spaces for your tech.  There were several outlets and ports all throughout the suite - even the recliner had a charging port!

Gardens Suites Hotel by Affinia also offers a Kids Program, Pet Program, Bike Program, The Cupboard (for snacks and even wine!), a TV room, free Wi-Fi, and so much  more!

Gardens Suites Hotel by Affinia is conveniently located near several subway stations, and is within walking distance to Central Park, Museum Mile, and numerous shops (Dylan's Candy Bar!) and restaurants.

The staff at the hotel was always warm and welcoming.  The friendly service, combined with the abundance of amenities, great location, and large suites, makes the Garden Suites Hotel by Affinia ideal for a visit to New York City.
