Visit New Jersey: White Rose Diner

After landing in New Jersey, our first stop was White Rose Diner to try the unofficial state sandwich - the Taylor Ham Sandwich.

The "Complete"
I ordered the "Complete" - a Taylor Ham, Egg, Cheese, and Potato Sandwich.  The ham (named after its creator, John Taylor) was sure tasty!  It was such a filling sandwich.
Jersey Omelet
The Jersey Omelet consisted of Taylor ham, tomatoes, onions, and American cheese.
Jersey Burger
The award-winning Jersey Burger is topped with (what else) - Taylor ham!
Pancakes

Owner Rich Belfer was right there grilling up the Taylor ham for all of the sandwiches, burgers, and omelets.

The small roadside diner was busy with regular customers, some of whom were surprised to see a family all the way from Hawaii there to try the popular Taylor Ham sandwiches.

If you find yourself in New Jersey and you want to try a must-eat Jersey dish - visit the White Rose Diner and ask for the Complete!
