Visit Tokyo: Eggcellent

On one of the days I did not want to eat any more convenience-store food for breakfast while in Tokyo, I looked for a place to dine not too far away by train.

I stumbled upon Eggcellent in Roppongi.

It turned out to be quite a difficult restaurant to find!

Avocado Toast

Egg Tart

3 Egg Omelette

Eggcellent Plate

Coconut Pancakes

Eggcellent Buddha Plate

Eggcellent Crock Madam

Agape Chocolate Pancake

I had the Crock Madam (Croque Madame) and it was delicious.  Eggcellent's version was served deconstructed, and with a soft-boiled egg.

The Eggcellent Plate came with eggs benedict, yogurt, salad, and pancakes.

The Buddha Plate came with kale, spinach, cabbage, egg, quinoa, tomato, chicken, mushroom, pickled purple cabbage, and served with a yogurt dressing.

One of my kids ordered "3 Eggs Any Way You Like," and asked for an omelette.

The seasonal pancake was Agape Chocolate Pancake.

Service was very friendly, but it took quite a while for our server to take our order.  However, we didn't mind, since he really went out of his way to squeeze our party of 9 into the tatami room, and once we ordered, the food came out in a timely manner.

Eggcellent was a great find!
