Brunch at Eating House 1849 Kapolei

When I found out Eating House 1849 in Kapolei served Sunday Brunch, I couldn't wait to try it out!

Complimentary Edamame

Ham and Cheese Monte Cristo

Chicken Katsu and Gravy

Honey Cheesecake
The Sunday Brunch menu is small, with just 5 options.

I opted for the Chicken Katsu and Gravy, which was accompanied by buttermilk biscuits.  It was a comforting plate of food.  The katsu was yummy, and the Portuguese sausage gravy was really good as well.

The Monte Cristo consisted of ham and cheese sandwiched between Ohia Sweet Bread, and fried tempura-style.  It was served with a honey berry compote.

The Honey Cheesecake was so good!  It was rich and dense, with a very subtle honey flavor, and the furikake crunch provided a really nice, salty contrast.  It was one of the best desserts I've had in a while!

A set keiki menu comes with an appetizer, entree, and dessert, as well as unlimited soft drinks!
Cheesy Quesadilla Triangles, Grapes, Orange

Kids Penne Pasta with Butter Sauce
Kids Chicken Tenders
Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich
Service was excellent, and although I really enjoyed the brunch dish I ordered, I hope they expand the brunch menu to include more items!
