Visit Hilo: E Komo Mai Lounge

During my trip to Hilo with the girls from my other job, we had no plans on going to any bars, but we ended up at one on our last night there.

After the negative experience at Hilo Bay Cafe (I have since returned and had a much better experience), Adrian, who is the manager I mentioned in my post that "went above and beyond to successfully turn around an unpleasant evening," took us to E Komo Mai for drinks.

As soon as we sat down I jokingly told Adrian he needs to drink 151 with me, and he was game!

Without hesitation he ordered us Hello Kitty cocktails with 151.

Melissa got an Oof Bomb (you can watch her shoot it here).
Yumi ordered a Li Hing Lemon Drop.

We were only there for a short time, but the staff at E Komo Mai was super friendly and really made us feel welcomed.

And although I wish we met Adrian under different (i.e. better) circumstances, it was really nice of him to take us out for drinks.  He was one of many who really showed us the Hilo hospitality during our weekend there.

I would gladly return again, and next time, I'd love to try out some of their pupus...and sing karaoke!!

It was a great way to end our last night in Hilo!

Thank you, Adrian!
