Panda Dim Sum

I have a weakness and it is the crazy cute food I see on Instagram.  The latest trend I had to have was the cute animal shaped dim sum buns.  First, Yum Cha Hawaii introduced their piggy custard buns and now Panda Dim Sum is sharing their art of dim sum.

Located in the back of the Chinatown Market Place inside City Square Shopping Center, Panda Dim Sum sells both more traditional dim sum like manapua, rice cake, jin dui, and also the cutest steamed buns in the shapes of pandas, chicks, minions, and even Hello Kitty.  The fillings are sweet and either red bean, sweet potato, or a milk cream.  They sell for $2 a piece or $3 for two pieces.

While they are super cute, I thought some of the buns were a little dry.  We also favored the red bean fillings over the others.  Still, these would be a hit at your next party!
